Feestelijke opening O&O-plein

Op donderdag 30 september a.s. vindt de opening plaats van het O&O-plein. Een unieke ontmoetingsplek voor studenten en medewerkers, van waaruit alle gebouwen in het O&O-Centrum te bereiken zijn.

Juist daarom wil het College van Bestuur de opening van dit plein vieren met alle studenten, studieverenigingen, medewerkers en uiteraard de partijen die betrokken zijn geweest bij het ontwerp en de uitvoering van het plein.

Iedereen is op donderdag 30 september vanaf 15.45 uur van harte welkom op het plein, tussen de gebouwen Waaier, Zilverling, Ravelijn en Citadel. Er is muziek en uiteraard zorgen we voor een hapje en een drankje.

Wij hopen op een grote opkomst, zodat we gezamenlijk inhoud kunnen geven aan de gedachte van dit plein, namelijk hét centrale ontmoetingsplein van en voor studenten en medewerkers!

On Thursday 30 September 2010 the opening of the O&O square will take place; the central meeting place at the O&O Centre of the University of Twente, from where you can reach all buildings in the O&O Centre and where students and staff can meet one another.

Precisely because the O&O square is seen as the central meeting place of and for students and staff, the Executive Board would like to celebrate the opening of this square with students, student associations and staff, and off course the parties involved in the design and construction of the square.

From 3.45 pm we invite everyone to join us at the square. There will be music and of course snacks and a drink for everyone, so that after the opening the meeting can continue in a relaxed atmosphere.

We hope to welcome many of you so that we can live up to the very idea of this square, namely to be the central meeting place of and for students and staff of the University of Twente!
